Windy’s Puppies are Off!

Yesterday, Windy’s puppies left for their new lives as faithful new family members. After getting their first round of shots and examined by two vets and given clean bills of health; they took a trip with us to meet their new owners! Prepared as best as possible for their new owners the puppies were trained to go potty on Pee Pads which is helpful while their new owners work on fully potty training them as their environments require. In the meantime all they have to do is just toss down a fresh pee pad and BAM, they will go!

They have had their paws and bellies handled since birth so they will have no grooming issues with a dislike of their paws being handled. They were also groomed Friday and given baths, had the hair around their behinds trimmed to help prevent puppy butt. They also had the stray hairs around their eyes slightly trimmed so they will see and reduce grit buildup around the eyes, always a good thing.

We are so very excited for these puppies as they will have exciting and helpful lives with their new owners. One is even on his way to being a service dog used in hospitals to help people recover from illnesses and reduce stress!

It is with great pride and a little bit of sadness that we see them off but they are going to wonderful people and loving homes, God speed and Good health our little Four Musketeers!

Here are the four little Musketeers!

(These are their nick names we use to identify them as they age, based on their personalities and behavior within the pack of puppies. They are not their actual names nor the names the owners will give them)
